Laura is a lawyer, member of the Bucharest Bar since January 2006, previously graduated from Faculty of Law she was practicing as a project engineer for more than 12 years at the Institute of Energy Studies and Power Engineering in Bucharest. After graduating from law courses and entering the Bucharest Bar, she chose to change his field of activity as well as to combine and apply the knowledge and especially the experience gained in the engineering profession.
Also starting from 2015, Laura started working with AAD Lawyers where she offered her expertise both as a lawyer and as an engineer as well.
As a lawyer, Laura is specialized in civil law, providing consultancy as well as legal assistance and representation in subfields such as: general theory of obligations – contract law, corporate law, labor law etc. It is worth noting that her construction studies and her experience gained as an engineer brought added value, understanding and interpretation of factual situations, especially in the cases that concerned the construction field.
Also, since the beginning of her activity as a lawyer, Laura has provided consultancy as well as assistance and representation for numerous clients in the procedure before the National Office of the Trade Register, for cases which concerned the formation of companies, voluntary dissolutions, and other specific aspects regarding the particularities of a company as well.
From 2020, Laura has also specialized in administrative law, offering legal services (consultancy as well as assistance and representation) for a public institution within the central authorities. Within the framework of legal services, the activity mainly concerned the following areas: i. the field of public procurement of services (PPP), starting from the award phase until the conclusion and execution of the contracts; ii. the field of human resources including: organization of competitions for filling positions, conclusion of individual employment contracts and any additional documents, including the remuneration of contract personnel within the public institution; iii. the current activity of the institution that involved collaboration with other public or private institutions, the response to various petitions, the elaboration of points of view and appeals to control notes and decisions issued by control institutions and finally vi. amending and updating the normative act of establishment, organization, and operation of the public institution to optimize the activity and fulfill the purpose and objectives for which the respective institution was established. During her professional career, Laura has proven her ability to work as a team, as well as her desire to continuously improve herself, to address to new areas, so that her professional activity and the services offered to her clients are of good quality and in their interest.
