Diana is the newest member of the AAD Lawyers team, being an associate lawyer in the firm since Spring 2023. Diana has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2019 and in 2021 graduated from the final exam organized by the National Union of Bars in Romania through the National Institute for the Training and Improvement of Lawyers, in 2021.
Diana has gained professional experience, working both in an individual office specialized in Insurance Law, and in a law firm specialized in Banking and Leasing.
Also, her work experience is in both litigation and consultancy departments.
In the litigation departments, Diana worked in insurance cases, commercial litigation, banking and non-banking litigation, as well as civil litigation. She has also been involved in employment, corporate and insolvency litigation, as well as sports law disputes.
Diana managed a diverse portfolio of clients, represented both by legal entities and well-known commercial companies (including nationally known non-banking banks and financial institutions), as well as by individuals.
Thus, Diana periodically managed many disputes for a nationally known non-banking financial institution, she constantly participated in the court hearings, solving common legal problems, but also complex ones resulting from their commercial activity.
Diana has also gained experience in the field of Criminal Law, especially in cases related to economic and white-collar crimes. She has drafted criminal complaints and represented clients in front of criminal prosecution bodies.
Within the consultancy department, Diana reviewed civil and commercial contracts, resolved legal issues related to the activity of commercial companies in front of the National Trade Registry Office (ONRC), advised associations and foundations on corporate activities and provided legal advice in specific legal issues.
Overall, Diana has gained significant experience in various areas of law and has been successful both as a litigation and consultancy lawyer.
Furthermore, Diana is fluent in English and always informed about the international legal landscape, aspects that are valuable assets in her work.
Not least, Diana has a proactive attitude, she is ambitious and persevering, while also being cheerful and communicative.
Also, Diana is constantly involved in volunteering projects related to legal activity, during faculty participating in the activity of the ELSA – European Law Students Association (2015 – 2018), but also in teaching legal education in schools, in 2022, within Project “Be a lawyer in your school” Second edition – organized by the Bucharest Bar in partnership with UNBR.
